Apple TV+'s For All Mankind will air the fourth season's final episode this Friday, Jan. 12th, at 12AM EST. This season followed the advancement of the Mars colony that started in the third season, and is focusing primarily on a capture mission for an asteroid which could change everything for mankind. Episode 10 - named Perestroika - will span longer than non-finale episodes with a runtime of 76 minutes.

What's gonna happen? [Major Spoiler Territory]

After Helios's planned asteroid heist was finally set in motion, a series of twists left episode 9 going out with a bang.

The USA's and USSR's "hidden assets" were revealed to be a CIA and a KGB agent respectively, and they rapidly progressed through their investigation to arrive at Miles Dale as a primary suspect. To add onto the trouble for Helios's secret task force, the North Korean commander discovered the location of their base of operations, where he was quickly knocked out by Lee. The next episode will certainly resolve those two cliffhangers.

As for Margo and Aleida, they are bound to discover Sergei's assassination. However, I doubt that they or the US government will do anything about it, especially with the tense situation between the US and the Soviet Union. Margo's fate will likely be addressed in the next episode.

Two other major characters, Ed and Dani, will likely face off in the next episode. Personally, I think both of their deaths are imminent from complications in the asteroid heist. They both had dialogue that was suspiciously close to typical character goodbyes. However, this may just be the writers intentionally throwing us off. Kelly is another that is on my likely-to-kick-the-bucket list, in the possible scenario where the asteroid crashes into Mars.

We'll be finding out the conclusion to the Helios heist this Thursday night.

Will there be a Fifth Season?

While not being officially announced, season 5 of For All Mankind was practically confirmed in a now-deleted X post from Kira Snyder where she expressed her excitement about joining the writing team for the next season.

I'm excited, but we'll probably get GTA VI before FAM S5
